Hello from Newcastle UK to all members of Boomboxery
after many years of listening to rubbish MP3's on smaller and smaller equipment I decided to get back into tapes I have always preferred Cassettes as they are nearly impossible to damage
I now have collected a good selection of quality cassette decks amps record decks and speakers over the last few years .Most have had to be repaired and giving a good clean and a deoxit .
My cassette collection is nearing 800+ and I thought I needed a Boombox for the summer months in the garden
So I picked up a Grundig RR640 in good condition cheap but like most old cassettes needs new belts .. but just a few days later I came home with a Monster Hitachi TRK 6800E ... this baby rocks after a quick clean and Temporary belt change..
Have plans for Bluetooth and led lights
Think I have the bug
