Realistic Modulette 602

The Sheldon's brother is listening (loudly) to a Realistic Modulette 602, a silver double tape boom box in 5th episode of "Young Sheldon". Mother comes in and stops the tape.

Also in 4th episode Shelodn's sister Milly has got a Sanyo micro-boombox, a pinky one with Sony tape inside...

I saw that. My wife chuckles and says "you don't miss a boom box on TV do you?". Always pause the TV to see if I can figure out what it is.

Since supposedly "Young Sheldon" likes Radio Shack it made sense that they would portray the family shopping there for their kids thus having a Modulette in the show. Wouldn't it be really cool to have a members box on that show? It fits the time frame perfectly Come to think of it though...I don't think I have seen a single member post anything Realistic on here
