Back in the '80s/'90s the cassette tape was my preferred music storage system, I must have had hundreds. Fast forward to today and I've got one left. So this tape has been tried in every box I've bought, with so far not a peep from any of them, until today. Thanks to the filth covered D8614 that arrived today

I cleaned the tape head with some isopropyl alcohol and it helped the right channel a lot. I wouldn’t have known to do that without this forum. Cheers guys

Most of us cannot accept non working tape decks ,its nice to just have it work from the start lol. I love cassettes and recording music and non working decks just suck .

You have to use these boxes or else they just dry up and act a fool.

Yea Floyd is right, working decks are a must for most of us, that's half the enjoyment with these ol radios, nice phillips btw

I must admit im the same, no deck working means im reluctant to give it shelf space...
