NorCal fires were brutal this summer. Even my sister lost her house this month.
Our little home is tight with refugees.

Here's a pic of the second radio pile for the Fire Dept trailer of stuff for the thousands of newly homeless near us.Just gotta include some batteries.

Radio still has a vital role during disasters, and they mean a lot to the folks working in rubble afterwards. Music and info are the only thing some of them have to feel connected to the world.
Big respect for the firefighters and other volunteers. Even the radio DJs.

Just appreciate today, cause ya never know!

Losing your home to fires like this must've been terrifying. The nearest situation we have to this in the uk is flooding which can take out hundreds of homes. But the homes are usually salveagable eventually plus you normally get time to get out of the way. Fire completely destroys and is so fast. Very scary.

Radios are a great idea...it keeps you in touch with the world. Well done for donating
