There's a dude in Christchurch, very much a Christchurch icon. Much loved and know by 90% of everyone. Not sure how to say it kindly but he's a bit simple. He's always rocking around the central city with a little radio of some sort, constantly changing stations to find songs he likes and them hums along very loudly. Everyone who knows him say hi, people buy him drinks, batteries anything he needs. There's been news stories about him, has Facebook fan pages. Know as 'radio ron' but his real name is John. He's a very classic dude.
