Hi guys, I remember coming across this topic long ago, but now I'm unable to find it. There was a certain mix of cleaners or chemicals that someone discovered that takes away the yellowing in the rear cases of these old boomboxes, does anyone remember this mix or have a link to that topic?... any info/guidance on restoring the grey to these cases (still new to restoration stuff) would be very appreciated, thank you in advance :-D

Yes it's been discussed here in fine details a few times before.

There is a product called retrobright you can buy but others had used hydrogen peroxide i beleive. Let me see if i can find the link.

Such great information. I have a Lasonic TRC-920, which has some modest yellowing on the back case, and always wondered if there were a fix. I should have looked sooner. I will try my hand at this. Thanks!

No!! So I need to take all the electronics out! I assumed I just could be very careful with the application. Obviously it would be tricky at the vent, but I would use a very small paint brush.
