Recently I text Eric aka caution, aka "The Magician" about the LASONiC TRC-975 chrome kit that he cut out. Big Thanks to Royce aka BoomboxLover48 for the measurements! Eric sent me to Norm, aka Superduper who had em in stock, so I made the purchase, and Norm shipped the kit out asap.

Now, although my 975 still has all of the original protective film over the entire front...somehow the chrome over the mids and tweeters was slightly tarnished and not looking too good.

Originally I had used the good ol stick and cut method with this, but only over the faded areas pictured above and it did look good, but it was no match for precision cut goodness.

The old stuff was removed, and the new chrome kit was applied and man, what a huge difference! See for yourself...In this 1st pic you can see the old chrome on the very bottom still, before the decal was applied.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Eric, Royce and Norm for helping out with this easy peel n stick kit to bring my 975 back to full glory!

Jeeez that 975 looks so clean with the fresh chrome. Already a beautiful box but that just finishes it off so good

Fark YEAH! You certainly put that SLO touch on those decals. They look spot on perfect to me. The kit makes that unit look so fresh.
Thanks boys, Royce and Eric did all the hard stuff, I just applied em  My part was easy.

I totally forgot that Royce had already made a thread about this chrome kit, so you can read up on it here
