Sharp 5P-37G TV boombox has some oomph!

Heard one of these at the last uk meet and was surprised at how good they sounded so when one popped up on eBay with a buy it now price I jumped in!

Well it turned up today and I'm still shocked at how good it sounds and how much bass it has. It fab. Everything works and it's not even that dirty! Makes a nice change!

It's a beauty!!

Yeh tv boxes often seemed to have not a lot of thought put into the style...just chuck in a screen where a cassette deck would go. But this has its own style and is pretty classy. I like that the tube doesn't stick out a mile at the back

The awesomeness really comes in when you see how well these are made and heavy they are , these things were not cheap by any means new or even used.

This was £100 or best offer, I didn't want to risk trying a lower offer and just clicked BIN! Found later I'd beaten someone else to it by a matter of seconds lol...sorry mate!

Wouldn't mind one of these Si buddy, the only thing that spoiils it is the handle, would love to compare one to the 3090 en or what ever they are

im not keen on handles that go all the way across lad, like the 880 770, i guess the m70 has no chance lol, thats just me buddy as i love the 880 and 770 :-)

Yeh standard coaxial aerial socket on the back

She's a beauty Si, looks great in Black, a real looker. Yup i was the chump clicking BIN and wondering why it wouldn't proceed !

I know! I don't what to do if I don't have to bath and scrub the thing lol...luckily the one I picked up today does need a bath :-)
