I have rebelted my vz2500
This is my problem
B side linear tone arm press play it comes down at start of record. Perfect
A side linear tone arm press play it comes down in to the middle of first song. Not at the start of the record. It’s as if it comes down diagonal into the first song. Not into the lead in

Any ideas

Never had this problem.

There is a cable line on pulleys that moves and drops the tone arm to the starting point of the record. Please check if the transport mechanism for side A is getting gently caught somewhere.

Our experts here will have better suggestions.

The top screw always look now if it’s there I go that out of a vz3510
That is the support screw for tone arm. On the outs side of housing.

It’s like a grommet screw I should have took photo. Of it. It lets the toneam mechanic swing.
