Best places for Inexpensive Vintage Boomboxes in NYC

Hi everyone,

I'm a new member to this forum, and I'm trying to find used electronics stores, flea markets, etc that would have a good selection of vintage boomboxes in the NYC area. I'm specifically looking for JVC boomboxes. They don't have to be functional, and I'm not looking to spend that much money either. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Im not from your neck of the woods but it think you have the right idea, yard sales, flea markets, goodwill, second hand shops.

You have basically described what we are all after, somewhere local to buy cheap vintage boxes..... im afraid it doesnt exist.

Yeh they're never easily available wherever you are to be honest

The problem is because they are Vintage and unreliable no shop owner wants to sell or repair them hence this great forum. Welcome aboard.

Unfortunately JVC boomboxes are hard to find in the wild your only choice would be ebay or a member here.
