Anyone have a trick on how to remove broken-off slider posts from the slider tracks without taking the top face off? Looks like removing the face will be a beast of a job. This must be a common issue since the sliders are so fragile. Here's a photo of the broken posts, there's 4 of them. :-/ I've tried getting at them with two small flat tipped screwdrivers but so far they're not budging.

I cannot think of a way to get them without opening up the unit and removing the top face. Any attempts with a right angled thin sharp tool will miss and break the top cover. or the broken part will fall inside the unit.

It is not very difficult to open up the unit. Never assume it is a fast job.

After removing the top cover I had to make a pin red hot and stick it to the broken slider part, let it cool down and then pull it upward with a nose pliers.

Thanks for the info. The hot pin trick sounds like it will work.
