Recently a new member to Boomboxery, Trommelmops offered a custom set of Crown CSC 950 knobs, machined out of aluminum. I followed his thread and was interested so I sent him a private message and he made the knobs shown below.

This is just rad. I can't believe the time and effort put in to old blaster parts. Love it when new members kick ass!

Unbelievable. That Crown just doubled its value!
I can't get over how gorgeous they are and much effort it must have taken to make them.

The quality of Trommelmop's work leaves me speechless -- just amazing! His contribution to this forum is unvaluable and his enthusiasm is positively contagious. Hat off to him & super congratulation to you on your brand new set for your soon-brand-new-again 950 :-)

You nailed it, the guy is fantastic. Machine work is something I wished I would have learned over the years. It's amazing what can be made from scratch

I don't think there's any way to over emphasize the quality of his work.
I mean look at those, they are amazing.
Every detail is reproduced and the overall finish is flawless
. magnificent!.
