Finally finished my van conversion to the point where I can use it! Literally just finished it, cleaned it, and filled the water tank ready to go on its maiden voyage tomorrow!

It's a Vauxhall Movano LWB high roof that I got from the NHS. They used it as patient transport so tootled about rather than thrashed like an emergency one. Automatic and only 81k miles, drives like a dream.

It's bright yellow so embraced a bit of colour in the decor. Never done one before so hope you like it! :-)

More than likely gonna go to the impending uk meet in it so I can roll with a few boxes in hand!

This is what it looks like on the outside...subtle it ain't!! :-) IMG_3246.jpg

And this is what it looked like when I got it IMG_3256.jpg

Looks good Simon. Are you keeping the colour?
Yep. It's a marmite colour...you either love it or you hate it...I love it. Better than boring old white :-)

Excellent job, it looks very cosy indeed. :hooray: Have you taken any pics of the storage areas? I'd be nice to see all those little boombox hideaways.
There's storage for a mini next to the chair, there's a tv/DVD stored there too. I could fit loads of them under the bed or in the huge boot :-)

Nice job!! In Australia, aging emergency ambulances are retired for patient transport purposes.

It's cool your van was never used for emergency use.

I think your dog likes it too. :-)
Yeh no hairing round at mad speed dodging traffic for this one thank goodness. The dog loves it because it has a sofa so feels like home for him :-)

So I guess your bringing all your radios?
Not sure they'll fit lol...I guess if I stack em and fill it there'd be space. Not sure how I'd sleep it in tho. Think I'll leave the jukeboxes behind tho

I love it. You put effort on every thing you get to fix Si but in the end it pays off.
From Bboxes to boomrooms to Vans your work is simply amazing. :-)

I dont know why but this van reminds me of the van scene from '' 24 Hour Party People '' movie

after Chris's comment. :-D cant post the youtube video ofcourse @!
