Well cats and kittens,I've got some sad news. The original Batman passed away,oh I guess just a couple of days ago. Whatta bummer,he was best known to me as Batman of t.v.'s Batman & Robin. I can remember being a little dude in the late 1960's and watching him SMASH,BAP and BLAM!!!!All the bad guys in the face,along with Robin. Week in and week out.Those were the days for great television. Along with Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Wild,Wild West.Any who Batman & Robin can be seen every weekend on METV's SciFi Saturday.He also did the voice of the mayor of Quahog on the hilarious animated show Family Guy. Rest in peace Adam West,you were one of a kind.

A sad day indeed. Been a ton of Batman movies over the years, but Adam West was the only Batman I will ever remember.

This sucks I loved Adam west , he had his own way of humor that stood out from the crowd.he was the very best Batman and the original bat mobile was the best too.
That's a good question Chris. I wonder if they have enuff of his voice/words recorded that they could carry on w/his character. We'll have to wait and see. Also I was thinking, that some of the retro TV channels might do a homage to him. They could get Burt Ward(Robin)to host it.That would be a proper send off.
Damn I used to watch Batman religiously when I was a kid.
I missed those days!!
