Not much to say here apart from a massive thanks to Reno who sent me these Panasonic drivers for my JVC Compo


The improvement is massive & transforms the sound beyond expectations


The video reveals all & is best viewed with headphones or a decent 2.1 speaker system minimum!!

I think the original units just get tired over time & a more modern & efficient replacement is so worthwhile

Hell yes! Like most boomboxes, the PC-11 suffers from sub-par speakers. You basically have a whole different boombox now! :w00t: :cool:

Damn that sounds good, really nice tight meaty bass to. I like the look to, doesn't look obviously modified :thumbsup:

Agree bobby, once you change the speakers in the pc 11, it's actually a better box than the pc55

I put 3 ohm speakers in mine , I mean these boxes do generate some heat after a while but no problems so far and I crank the shite out of it. They have power to spare when you swap out those stiff ****ing speakers.
