whats up guys? I am building a playlist of mainly electro with some early rap... im after recommendations for which tunes am i missing that should belong on any electro playlist? ....anything i can get hold of on cd or download would be a bonus

I have them all on vinyl, including the latterly released Crucial 4.
I think I have them all mp3'd too.

^^^Yeah, the Street Sounds Electro series of records originally released in the early 80's.are a must have .Those records are indispensable IMHO. There's volumes 1-15 so you cant go wrong really

My own personal favourite for Electro comps is this one here...absolutely dope stuff and well worth tracking down.




The Street Sounds series was also released on tape .The covers look like this.
