A nice surprise then as these are a box well worth having, not the best sounding box but big and very nice to look at.......killer vu's!

Thanks fellas , James replaced the vu meter with one the wasn't faded. This box is just luscious . The best part is everything works so I don't have to operate right out of the box lol. These have a very mellow sound that doesn't get tiring to lisen too, not the loudest but loud enough for where I'm using it at ocean city where I work on a beach house every summer ,and trust me it will outclass anything they've seen down there.

I been listening to this box for two days now and I can say it ****ing sounds awesome especially outside , I mean it more than does anything you ask of it and Its very loud .

Also this box has a pitch control like the 9696 where you can adjust the tape speed, in my opinion the most useful feature ever.

THanks brother ,Yeah man number 48 coming up very soon. I would say its bigger than a 931 but smaller than a 975 but not by much .its a really huge and intimidating boombox to say the least.
