New boy in the playground, would be grateful for some advice/opinions.
I recently acquired the above boombox. CD and tuner work fine, and the auto-reverse casette plays ok in one direction. The right hand take-up reel does not move when reverse direction play is attempted. The tapes just spool out and the cassette auto switches off. I have downloaded the manul and had the thing apart. I cannot obviously see any slack or perished bands. Any thoughts what this might be and potential solutions?
