Interfaces on CSC 850L and manual....

Hello Members, Readers and Followers,

I have a question about a jack on the left side of the crown. its marked with "Rem" ?????

What does it means? Remote control or what? Is there anybody of you who can explain or better is there someone of you

who has a manual or the better dream would be a service manual???????

I would be very thankful for all your help about it......

That plug is for a wired remote that plugs in that controls the record functions on the tape deck,usually it has another plug just above the remote plug where the microphone plugs in. sometimes both plugs are built into the mic to allow you to control the recording stop and start from the mic itself.

THX for your short explaining. I've only seen a wired remote control for a 980 somewhere in the deep of internet....

so i think i did'nt need a remote control......but would be a nice to have
