JVC M70 - Not enought Bass/Trebe on left speaker ?

I just noticed that my left speaker have less bass (and treble?) than the right one.
FYI the left volume slider sound works fine (i have an issue on the right one)
I can also confirm that by looking at the Vu meter.
Tested on Line In and radio with same result.

I got my M70 for free but it definitely came with many issues to solve

i found it in a technical room at my workingplace... hidden under years of durst

FYI, I recently rebuilt the Bass slider on my M70 and solved a similar problem: very weak bass on both channels.

Have a look at chhchca's thread regarding the sliders on his JVC RC-838. It might be able to help in your situation.

Just trying with headphone : in this case, everything works fine (volume balance/ treble&bass on each channels)
Can i conclude that sliders are not faulty ?

Try some deoxit on the selector switch...then move switch back and forth several times.

Already done, but i have to order a better quality product to do that, and retry. (The Famous French KF F2)
