Toronto meet/swap third weekend in may would anyone be interested

So since I started collecting I've met one cat who is local and wants to start some Toronto meet/swap could ether be at a venue looking at an art gallery on spadina just south of bloor but I would have to charge each person to cover the cost of the venue but with s venue provides security and boxers can bring their grails
Or we meet at a location like a downtown Toronto park/Kensington market
The date we were thinking on was third weekend in may Saturday from 12 pm to 5pm I'm just looking for locals who might be interested and represent CBC Canadian boombox collectors seems fitting the name CBC get at me if interested

That's a great idea. I'm not sure how many guys are in the area, but make it happen!

It's happening got a location confirmed
First NBC northern boombox collectors meet will be held at the dupe shop on bloor street in Toronto
The dupe shop is a cassette only music store and the dudes who run it were stoked on the idea will have an official date in the next day or 2 and I think a couple guys might show up but I'm also interested in growing the population of collectors in Toronto it's also going to be a swap ....hopefully so people who stop in have a chance to buy or trade for a box and become part of the family if not collectors already
As well I think I'm going to raffle off one of my boxes for some charity and to entice people to come join
Will be on a Saturday from 11am to 4:30 pm then at 4:30pm we all go for a walk or head further south and walk box on shoulder pumping tunes letting Toronto know what's up would also like group photos which il email to all the perticipants

Thanks caution i love how the southern states boombox collectors almost seem like a giant family I'd like the same up here in Canada it's always more fun to me when like minded people join in
share stories and show off the boxes they are proud of it would be nice to get more people onboard and interested in collecting also and the best way to do that is by starting a Canadian scene
