Hey, can anyone identify these two boomboxes?

At 1:00, Professor Defbeat sets down a nice-looking one on the desk and at 1:56 a guy is using one that looks VERY snazzy. I hope someone can tell me what these two models are, as I wouldn't mind hunting for one. :-D

Its the same box on both shots , I know member space lobster has that model.I don't remember what the name of the box is though.

Is it? I coulda sworn they were different, but that's maybe because the entirety of the first one isn't in shot.

NKL love is right, the second one is the panamax I used to have. I sold it because it was plastic and generally kinda lame, it's in Finland now I think :-D
First one I've seen too, can't remember what its called..

Nah man, the sound was pretty hollow. Do u have many boomboxes ? Maybe you came across this "type of box before, this one is just a big empty box with some chrome on the outside. It's what the mid-late 80s boxes deteriorated into as people just wanted bigger flashier boxes but they didn't want to to pay for quality. maybe you could upgrade the speakers but it's such an unknown brand I'm not sure there would be any help/parts available. You'd be better off getting another one. one of the exceptions in the category is the Lasonic 931/975 which looks flashy but also sounds dope.

Yeah, I know that boomboxes in general downgraded towards the end of the 80s. Didn't think the Panamax would be that bad though.

I actually got a TRC-975 and was worried it would just be another hollow box but I've only heard good things about it.
