Sharp QT77: Another $15 score at the local Goodwill. Everything works, not a mark on it. It even has intact door clings.

Conion H76F: An epay score. It's still in need of a detailing, but is in fantastic condition. No marks or oxidation worth mentioning.

Sanyo M-X920: This was the Craigslist box in Florida I posted in the for-sale section in January. About a month after I posted it the seller knocked $100 off the price, so I went for it. Thanks to blu_fuz's pal who lived nearby, it's now in my hands! It had a cracked tape door glass and was missing a couple of lever caps, but thanks to icedmelon that is fixed now. It is in great shape as well, a couple dents in the top trim, very few if any scratches to speak of, but will need a good cleaning. Standard issues with the pots, switches, probably needs some new caps, the standard stuff. Got the belts already but I am thinking I will probably set it aside to get back to other radios that have been waiting a long time for some TLC.

Nice finds!

But, 14MP pics? :dunce:

lol
It's probably why a few members have found that they've hit the photo attachment ceiling. I have literally hundreds of images or more, all hosted on boomboxery and I'm not even close to any limit that I'm aware of. However, I also resize all of my images too so the average size is probably about 100kb or so. It would take 140 of my images to equal one 14mb image.

Hah! Good eye Reli. It should've been about 1.8 megs, but it ended up 7.5 megs since JPEG compression was 0%. I was adjusting it for something else I was doing and forgot to set it back up to 20%. Makes a huge difference in file size and negligible detail is lost. But in general they're a few hundred K to about 3 megs, depending on how much I cropped and how much compression helps.

I like leaving it at full resolution. If I want to get close to see something in more detail, it still looks crisp. Beyond that though, I don't upload here because non-users can't see them, which I want them to. I'd hit my limit anyway, I post a lot of pics. Flickr is bottomless.

Dude that little SHARP is so clean. All of these are sweet radios Eric, nice come up! I've always liked those 920's. And I know that CONION will shine like the sun after your all done with it. Congrats bro!

Where do you live where Goodwill actually has decent electronics?? At my local Goodwill, the electronics section is just filled to the brim with VCR's that nobody wants.

I live in the Portland metro, west side, but keep in mind that Sharp was only the second or third collectible model I've found over the last 2 to 3 years, and I go a lot. Even then, I found it on my second trip to the same Goodwill on the same day. It wasn't clean like that either, it was pretty grungy. By the way VCRs and tape decks are great boxes of parts if they're marked with the half price color of the week!

I downloaded your Conion pic and it's 4958 x 3224 = 15,984,592 which is 16 megapixels, right?
