SCR-8's

Just finished up restoring a couple SCR-8's with my son. Bottom left I picked up a couple years ago and it really didn't need anything other than a light cleaning. I use it mostly in my home gym. The one on the bottom right needed a deep cleaning and a new antenna. My son already claimed that one as his.

The top one was a complete basket case that I picked up a while back for $50 in non-working condition. Cleaned it up good, got it working, straightened out the woofer grills the best I could and ended up spraying them black. My son came up with the idea of making it into a "Harley Davidson edition" box, thus the emblems in the grills. It's still a little rough around the edges, but it will be used mainly as a garage box. I thought it would be neat to have a picture of all three of them together!

I have three of those as well, great boxes for the price!

Thanks for the comments. I really like the SCR-8, it's a great box. I also have a couple blockbusters, but even though they are pretty much the same box, I've always thought the SCR-8 has a better sound to it.

And it has those immense LED's, great stack man!
