I was given this old boombox and was told it had not been plugged in for over 20 years. After I cleaned the oxidation off the plug, I plugged it in to see what it could do. It played! For a little while. After playing for about 10 minutes, I unplugged it. The next day when I had a chance to mess with it again, it developed a humming noise, then it began a clunking solenoid type noise, then a small bit of smoke emerged from the top left side of the cabinet and bam, nothing. I followed the tear down tutorial posted on the forum(thanks) to inspect the damage. I found a blown fuse, but no visual signs of component damage.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

There's a pair of solenoids for each needle, you must have pressed play on the turntable.
The only fuse inside is next to the transformer, I figure that's the one you found.
There are a couple of fusible resistors in there, I suppose one of those could have smoked.
