Do anybody here have one. I was playing mine and it just stopped spinning the record. Display window is on but no light on power knob.

Heck, I didn't even know TDK made a turntable. Which model are you referring to?

By the way, how is the recovery going for you? Are you all better now?

That does look cool. Maybe something happened to belt.

Here are some useful links for that model:

http://tdkperformance.host4kb.com/category/11/0/10/Home-Audio/TVT2002-Turntable-w-USB/

Hopefully, it is just the belt and not the motor. TDK part number 447-E13000-00R is the replacement drive belt for the TVT1001 and TVT2002.

The standard factory specifications for the drive belt are:

Material natural rubber
Circumference (relaxed) 842 mm (33.1")
Circumference (installed) 1003 mm (39.5")
Width 6 mm (0.236")
Thickness 0.8 mm (0.031")
Hardness (ASTM D1415) 70 deg

If the factory replacement belt cannot be obtained, a substitute drive belt may be used. A standard large flat drive belt of circumference 35.1 inches (FRX35.1) has been tested and provides acceptable performance for speed accuracy and wow & flutter.

Open it up and get back with us.

Thanks for the Info Fatdog. I opened it up and to find out. The TDK Turntable Motor is fried. I think Im the one to blame. Turntable comes with its own power cord. which I forgot, I used the one that came with the TDK Cube. the one that comes with the turntable is smaller.

That sucks... a lot. :bang:

I would send an e-mail to TDK customer service and check on the possibility of purchasing a new motor / board.

I honestly dont think you can get anything from TDK anymore, but not 100% sure. I would check to see about getting aftermarket motor maybe

I talk with a TDK Customer Service. He says the only parts they have are the Belts and Stylus. He did tell me about about a place in New York that could fix it. I called and gave them the model number and what happened. Guy said yes its your motor and it can be fixed.

Hey Keith, before shipping it off to New York, see if you can get a part number or something off the motor that's already in there. You might be able to find a replacement and fix it yourself for way less money. Just an idea...

Thanks Fatdog. I was definitely thinking about that. Gonna open it up tomorrow and see what I can find. Could be an easy fix for me.
