Ho Hum Another Fisher PH-492

Picked this unit up for $75. It seems to work just fine. Whoops cassette is stuck on play and won't allow you to close the door. Still looking for 2 speakers for my other PH-492 though.

That's a beast of a boombox right there! And only $75?! Talk about being in the right spot at the right time.

Hello mates, the backstory is that I had never seen a nice Fisher PH Ghetto until about 6 months ago. I found a PH-492 unit at Goodwill missing the speakers for $9.99. Then, yesterday, I find this in a thrift shop for $75.00. Wow! It sounds great until about 7 on the volume scale. A seriously well built unit. Other than the two Sharp VZ-2000's I found recently....... and these Fisher units, I haven't seen much in the last 5 years or so. It's been grand lately though.

Fisher definitely has some nice 3pc unit. Great find!!!

The more I see that thing the more I want one.

The GF-777 is still my favorite box.....period.

That is the thought we all had at one point, and later ended up buying over 100 other boxes.
