Hi boomers can anyone advise me, when looking to buy a boombox if the voltage on the box is 220v is it safe to use them on our UK voltage that's higher than 220v???

Thanks guys just thought I'd check as wasn't 100% sure and didn't want as Hopey says she go bang 😱😱
I have too, the only issue i have noticed is that the power supply hums louder and once set to 240v the humming went away, it's been the same for several boxes, just thought it was worth mentioning
haha yep you saying that I have noticed the same I just thought it was a slightly noisey power supply unit but makes sense, iv had it running several hours and its not getting over warmRimmer36 said:
