Finally found one at a sale! 1984 Transformer boombox. Had to get it.

And now,I wanna build one out of a real boombox!!!
I'm thinking I could do it easily with a cheap simple 3-piece. One with tall skinny speakers. Its already built in my head.

Cassette door was broken,so I was very happy to perform repairs. Overly complicated,but easy. Fixed.

Didn't find any cassettes. That would he rad.

Here's pics of some transformation stages.

This would he so easy to recreate with an actual boombox. With the right one.
Arms are just tubes.
Thighs are also just tube,could hold wires.
Pelvis shape bolts to boombox centerpiece
