ive had these two for a number of years now, they are what remains of a little collection i used to have... so i thought id show :-)

the sharp being my favourite, the speakers are from a GF9191 which i painted white... I have been thinking of selling both stereos

the TRK i sold years ago... this picture is deceptive, The positioning of the two radios makes them look the same size but the 9100 is not as wide as the 3d80

Damn, that Sharp looks good with the grills off!

And that 3D80 is the best looking 3D

the sharp does look wicked with these speakers in i must admit... Was the 3d80 the best sounding 3d? I used to have a 3d8 in my collection as well but it died :(

Yeah i have the grills for the sharp, there are pictures of it with the grills on in the post :-P

Very nice, the £D looks really clean, these are often beat to hell.

The Sharp on the other hand, that should of been factory because the white looks sooo fresh. Cool snapbacks shelf to.

The 3d wasnt always that tidy, it took a lot of effort to get it looking the way it does. Most of the box has been repainted (the cassette doors are a giveaway) but it turned out looking pretty good

@T-STER: you should have a pm

Can the Sharp's tape glass be replaced? I bet clear glass would look smoother with those white woofs. Or maybe green-edge glass.

Yes the 575 looks really good. Iv got 1 to, but it fell off my shelf in the earthquake and it's got some serious power issues that I'll eventually have to get an expert to investigate. White speakers is a good option

Cheers guys, im glad you like them, i havent really showed them both off before.

@sun209union: im actually considering selling them both, And buying a gf-777. i promised myself id own one some day, and im not into collecting.

The gf-575 would be a bit of a reluctant sale though. Its actually still in daily use, i use it to play music in the barber shop i work at

Sean :-)

the tweeter Grills on the 575 have been painted black again, something i meant to do years ago but never got around to so they stayed silver... anyway, ive been wondering; where can i buy the stickers for the cassette doors, or can anyone on here make them?
