Well the title says it all,I see upon looking in the opening for the tape A there seems to be a regular hole to put the tape door into and the right side (looking at the boombox from front) there seems to be a gradual groove that gourd towards the hole for the right side notch hike. I'm guessing that that's the side that goes in last.
I'll have it open and the deck removed from the back so I have complete control and no unnecessary pressure on either side.
Secondly what type of glue should I use for installing the 2 little mic covers?
Can't use super glue if any kind as it's stains and wrecks little plastic pieces like that.
Any help would be immensely appreciated.😀

Jeff, Use Goop Marine Sealant. Use very little on the tip of a tooth pick and press and hold the mic covers in place. A few spots of glue should hold it. Excess will come out from the sides and make a mess. There is not need to use strong adhesives like epoxy types on these parts.

It is available at Walmart

Thanks,I'll check it out.
I'll only get it if it's clear and not colored.
I could dab with a toothpick JB Weld to. Very little.
