Anyone else with a CFS-88S?!

so - direct from Canada - made in the USA?!

I gambled on one of the worst transactions ever - this craigslist ad about a box I knew nothing about (saw one pic of it open) -didn't know it closed!!!!

(all in I dropped $200 - but this guy was a little nuts- and one a "fighter" -tried to threaten not to ship it like 50 times and took 3 months to send it AFTER my money order was cashed :annoyed:

And here it is - took some cleaning - sounds AMAZING!!! needs a little more polish but all works perfectly

this box reminded me that sometimes things are beat up and ugly on the outside - but after a good polish are as good as new - and still SOLID inside!

The 88 is certainly a unique box and looks tough when folded up. At first look they look small but I think it's an optical illusion because that tape door is very small.

yup bobby --i got it off ebay last month -
its a very VERY beautiful design --

but - to me --it just does not have that raunchy boombox sound --

so - i sold it to some local stiff -
who knows nothing !!!
