The Ontario meet was FANTASTIC gents!!!!!
I'd like to say a big thanks to Tony for getting this pulled together and a huge thanks to Kilowatt and Vintage Man for bringing the huge hauls from home. It was real pleasure to meet these gents. They really know there stuff and helped out immensely. The were some other gents there as well, but like my wife reminds me, my memory is like a fart in the wind.
Anyways back to the meet...

This Hyper Sound blew my mind away!!! This box is a sweet sounding machine. A real sleeper!
Vintage Man in the center exhibiting his beautiful collection

I can now confirm in person that these 550's are MASSIVE!
Arguably the most beautiful Tosh out there IMHO

Tony Cruz's only remaining fingers after the Clairtone's sound blew the other three off.
Kilowatt and Tony working out how many old guys were in attendance

These blue LED's on Kilowatt's Clairtone are something to behold!
I see an M90, Sk-71 an Telefunkem M1 and the modded M70
My measly contribution M90 and SK-95.
Kilowatt demonstrating the Sony FH's power! He later flew home wearing the JVC backpack...

Advice to all...just once listen to the sound coming from these Hyper Sound boxes....you won't regret it!
Who
The light show!
What can I say? Great times, great people, great boxes.....it begs the question, why didn't we do this sooner?
Next year guys?

Everyone should know not to put their hands that close when the volume dial is anywhere beyond 2 3/4.
You wouldn't stick your hand in a running lawnmower, would you? :dunce:
Looks like you guys had a great meet!

I don't recall but it's part of Vintage Man's collection. I'm sure he'll chime in with right selection.

I also regret not getting some close up's of Tony Cruz's SK-71. There's barely a scratch on it!

With the shear numbers of boxes that some of our members brought SLO, I was in the "numerical minority"! LOL

In fact all this meet did was remind me that I'm missing out on a lot of great boxes! :angelic:

Nice photos! Love the modded Goldstar.

But the Hyper Sound? I have the TC-999 version, and while the bass is good, the overall precision & accuracy of the sound is below average. The M90 blows it away IMHO.
