That's a "vintage" audio shop in Moscow.

Prices are, well, high.

Oh my God!! I wanna go!

Remember TurboSonic? That used to be the only boombox store anywhere.

I'd love to build cabinets like that for my collection

Bad Boy Bill

Yup, I'm starting to rethink some display cabinets as well. Sometimes I will see cabinets like that being thrown out behind CVS and Walmart.

Cheers  OSS  :afro:

Cheers

If that M90 is new (assuming it hasn't been subjected to the UV rays of the sun) I guess that settles the blue speaker issue because I do not detect any bluish hue in those woofers :-)

Despite it being sheltered it still suffers from the AM/FM banner ripple. My guess is it is caused by the glue they used to secure it to the plastic. My M90 doesn't have this issue which surprises me....but makes me happy

Yea I was trying to convert back to NZ dollars. Guessing prices are Russian? Apparently if I wanted to buy the Sanyo mx820 (would love 1) but worked out a bit over $7000. No thanks

I have noticed that about Russian sellers, man they really want a lot of money for their boxes. What is the deal with that? Mystic Traveler can you please shed some light on why that is? Just wondering. Thanks in advance.😁😁😁

For me that's pretty obvious, bud. :)

Those whose offers with sometimes outrageous prices you may see at Epay or sites like this, they are just trying to make some money

out of those old boomboxes.

They are not deep in this hobby, many of them are not real collectors

and in this sence IMO not much different from any other sellers and REsellers all over the world. :)

I'd call them profiteers if I am using this term correctly in this connotation.

Nothing fancy, the same old story.

At first I was wondering why they were asking more for the Victor vs the JVC M90 but then I spotted the box, packing material and remote along with factory sealed Demo Tape

Prices are really high, but i suppose there are still people who go and buy there ? Because if you want something really bad you´ll pay those prices asked   Sony CFS-77 is a nice piece i´d love to have from there but going to Moscow already is a big hassle.
