I picked up this decent little Sanyo as a beach boomer for my ipod, but can't figure out how to get the line-in function working... thought for sure it would work since it has the input but there's no selector switch... just me or is that kinda weird? Anybody familiar with these and have a clue how to get it working?

Common problem for the more basic tone only models. The line in may work when in tuner mode; (it may override the tuner output when you have the RCA line in cables connected).

Otherwise, you may have to have the deck record bar activated to get the line in to work.

Function switch must be on "TAPE" position.
Insert blank tape.
Push rec+play button, and must listen sound from LINE IN.
To protect tape from erasing, push pause button.

yea iv got 2 of these. just tried both of them. both seem to override the tuner a little bit but sounds better when you put a tape in and push rec/play.
