Philips D8614 - Opening The Case

I've unscrewed the rear case from the front section and parted them to find the connecting wires from the rear casing to the front casing for the Aerial and battery terminals are soldered connections. I'm trying to get to the tape deck, is the only way of getting to the deck to de-solder these connections?

Also, does anyone have the service manual for this model? I've tried two links from the forum with one resulting in my security software warning me of a malicious threat and finding no download link at the other.

My personal grail box and I can't help here as I am no techie I have opened mine up to do an internal clean, but never touched the deck. I have issues with mine only having sound from one channel, and would love to fix the problem as the box is in mint condition.
