Got this mini 7700 for real cheap. Had paint specs all over. Deck didn't work at all. I completely cleaned and restored her with new belts. All paint came off. Cleaned all switches and pots and deck. Demagnetized head. Found and repaired deck issue which was a short through worn micro leaf switch. Cleaned up tire and pinch roller and unit is fully working now. Also got a strap from Joe (Blu_fuz) and printed up door label. Always wanted a mini with dual antennas😎

That's a top quality mini Sanyo...congrats on getting it cheap and nice repair. I got one of these cheap too in a bundle of others, it's a great little radio :-)

Thanks everyone. I'm pretty happy with sound for it being a mini. I love the looks especially the dual antennas, the carry strap and the battery meter. All the chrome is clean and shiny and looks almost new. 😎

Yep, another BBB beauty!! Those old school Sanyo clings are very sweet. Dual antennas and a strap option made this little fella a high end model back in the day.

Good work Bill,

James.... :-)

Fantastic job Bill. I have two of these, in non working order. I've been hoping to one day make a real nice one from the two.
