Iron Maiden's The Book of Souls

O.K. guys and gals!Here's #3,the new double CD from Iron Maiden is out and it rocks hard!If you liked Maiden back in the day,you'll like this two CD progressive heavy metalfest a lot.The Book of Souls is very reminiscent of the Powerslave and Somewhere in time albums.Eleven new songs to rock your favorite box with.Some of these songs are good and long progressive tunes similar to ryme of the ancient mariner.You can see the first video from this album on YouTube entitled Speed of Light.Its a short five minute or so rocker that's sure to get your toes a tappin'.Bruce's voice still sounds very good and Steve Harris's bass guitar is just as bassie as ever.Oh and Nicko's drums are sure to give your woofers a workout!Adrian Smith and Dave Murray both still play guitar with most excellent lead and rhythm.These guys still get it,even after some 35 years.It seems 2015 has been a banner year for 80's hard rock and metal bands and this new one from Maiden is no exception. So if your lookin' for some kick ass new tunes this two CD set is the way to go.Rock on!!!
