Clairtone ' s a poppin.

so not sure if this has been asked before...
but all you conion Clairtone owners get that pop when you power on.?
can this be fixed?
They did not do this fresh from the factory could they.
I was around a brand new 7980 back in the day but can't remember.

The IC's are the same as the 777 & the data sheet does denote a 'bump' dampener embedded into the IC itself but as far as I can tell the manufacturer that uses the IC's has to create a circuit designed for it to work. I'm not sure if the C-100 bumps normally or not. Never heard one in person. I'm curious now too....
