My office is in a metal pole style building - somehow it messes up the reception on my boomboxes and I only get in one station here at work - the little local station. Anyway, there is an old rusty antenna on top of this place - so we ran some speaker wire to it - then hooked it up to a gf-8686 to see if it might help reception and it is much much much better. But this antenna is old and nasty looking and is also clear at the other side of the building from my office. So I am wondering if there are some good amplified FM antennas out there for sale that I could hook up on the roof above my office that might help to really bring in some stations. Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this?
