I've had this garage sale find for several years now. Only now just got around to taking care of some cabinet damage that occurred before I'd bought it - the belt clip had come off and taken its brass mount with it - by picking up a junk unit on eBay.

I actually tried to fix the junk unit but it was too far gone to be worth the trouble. Here are its mechanicals - the design has the rewind and fast forward counter-intuitively positioned...

Overall, this is no great shakes as a music player - piano and similar sounds are a bit off - but it's a fairly robust unit with only the one belt to change. Here are a couple videos of the wee beastie playing an old GE stereo demonstration tape...
