Member "Zippy" bought this on Ebay from some scrub who refused to ship it to Germany.....So I intercepted it, polished it up a little, and will re-ship it to Zippy tomorrow. This bitch be heavy! Everything works, except that the tape counter belt is slipping. Also, is there supposed to be a meter light in the upper left corner?

You better pack that beast in a thick MONSTER box with lots of soft padding to ensure it's safe arrival to Germany...Zippy is going to LOVE it

Nice work, Reli! Zippy should be pretty pleased when he gets it.

That video has inspired me to shake out my C-100 today - but it'll have to wait - it's only 5:55 a.m. here.
I'm not above blasting out the neighbors, but I have to draw the line somewhere. :-D

Volume at 20 on a C-100 = Volume at 8 on anything else.

Ah damn.....gonna need a custom box made. USPS to Germany cannot exceed 108 inches combined length plus girth. I am thinking 36x21x15, or 36x22x14. But nobody sells anything like that.

Actually...the boxes i get are so strong...you can stand on them on the edges/corners when they are opened up and built...when they are EMPTY before you even tape them up...that's what you need they are mega strong

i sent a box in a custom made plywood crate , all you need is padding inside but you can make the crate a bit bigger than the radio. you really only need 1/4 inch plywood and some 1x2 's . worked perfectly and the weight of the plywood was less than the weight of all the boxes and packing i would have needed and smaller too.
