This box has been produced from 1980 till 1984
--with a couple of differences:

a)eq or pots
b)colour sheme
c)headphone and /or mic plugs
d)several were sold with to headphone plugs and built in mics
e)enclosure with covered tweeters or single ones/ith slot or lamello lenses


kingspoint-ps430,uher-tcr-s93,sankei-tcr-s93/ 95 with different cassette drives(in this case the counter is placed left above the a- cassette drive instead right above the b-deck)

l+r led meters
stereo indicator
4 wave and orange stickers for tape control view.

welcome jens :hi: :hi: those boxes are pretty cool i always wondered why a company would pick and chose other than the fact making money instead building some different design so it would be there own creation and not a copy or rebadging the same box :-)

Lot's of companies have another manufacturer make things for them but in this case it is weird that there are so many copies of the same unit. Usually the different companies will make some changes between the units, example I know of, Precision Power amplifiers for the car, made amps for Sansui and also some that were sold by Crutchfield under their name, but the 3 different amps did not look alike.

This series of boxes sounds totally amazing! The mids are very clean.Voice sounds amazing!Though it has good bass and highs,the very prominent mids give it sort of a neutral balance.It's probably not the box you would want for heavy electronic beats or the grungier types of rock.These things sound great with folk,country,all but the heaviest rock,,e.z. listening,etc..You wouldn't expect an A.K.A. to sound so clean ! It's amazing what they mass produced years ago.Recommended !

Actually there are 1536 lists in the base with aka`s from total 12000.
From 2 up to 27.
So there are only some the players like sony,jvc,sharp with only a few aka`s.
