Lasonic L 30 HUMMmmmmmm

I started to work in a proyect ,whit a Lasonic L30 .i dont need the tape function for this proyect ,so i cut all the wires from deck to the main boar ,
My idea is only works on radio and line in .but now have a HUMMM when put in the tape selector ,and a liltle humm in the line in mode .any ideas where is the problem? when aproach my hand close to the rec/play the hummm is more .any help is welcome ,

prolly one of the ground wires from the deck causing that hum .

Thanks ,is a good point to star ,any help to find the deck ground ,? the most wiresof the deck are disconected when i open the box ,

should be a black wire with a ring terminal on the end that screws to the metal chassis of the decks.

the deck are just decorative ,dont have any conecction to the boar maybe need know where the groud wire is conected

Maybe look for this, the muliti-conductor wire that goes from board to tape head for L+R signal has a shield that has to be connected to metal ground.
