just bought a crown sz 5100 for a bargain price, knowing it didnt power up,but secretly was hoping it was a fuse or a loose wire or something-but-no such luck-opened it up to find that some shmuck had DELIBERATELY CUT the main power switch wire in half-so re connected it-NOTHING-changed the fuse-NOTHING.does anyone have a clue about it?i suspect the transformers up the duff but i dont want to risk making anything worse than it already is.oh and ive tried it on batteries too-NADA.

any advice anyone can give would be super  it also requires a batt cover and a right hand tweeter grille cove if anyone has spares-thanks everyone :-)

Maybe the power switch is faulty ie not passing current when switched to 'on' ?
