Maybe we should list what you guys are planning to bring, so that Mel and I don't fill up our cars with boxes you're already bringing?

Does anyone have a Philips elephant box?  If so, please bring it.

Also what time is it?

Ready to Rock for tomorrow's meet!

SHOW UP HUNGRY

I got some water, Coke Classic, hot dogs, hot links, potato salad (home made by wifey), chips and a vegi tray. If you have any special dietary needs bring it, or any soda or beer needs, bring it. Or anything you want to throw on the grill.

This time around, there will be plenty of parking and the A/C will be running as it is suppose to be HOT!

Look for the signs at the mouth of the driveway that say "BOOM -->"

I think so....

Checked off the list:

Moved car's to my neighbors driveway to make parking room

Cleaned garage and Boomroom

Set up tables in garage

Installed A/C unit in window of garage as the temperature is expected to be hovering around 100 degree F

Set up BBQ and bought soda's, water, hotdogs, hotlinks, chips ect.

Set up power strips near tables

Set up lighting in garage

Brought some of my collection out to the garage FOR BLASTING!

Got a few surprises for the guys

The only thing missing are some kick ass Boomboxery members to ROCK WITH!

T-Minus 15 hours and counting!  :pimp:

I've got a Philips "Elephant" and will be bringing it along. I'm also bringing my collection of microcassette boomboxes and three Diatone/Jeagam/Mitsubishis.

I'll also have my Sony CFS-F70, which might be going home with Fresh Produce.

Well, another Boombox meet is in the books!

It was great and I want to thank Peter (Fresh Produce), Adrian (Mac Daddy Freshness), Miles (=ml=), Owen (Kraftmatic) and new Member Matt (Mattsonic) for coming down.

Miles brought a nice FM transmitter so we are all able to tune in commercial free. He had a great mix of classic hip hop going all day. He brought a fully working Vinix and you know what, Ira is RIGHT, those things ROCK!. He also had a Sanyo with a TV in it playing the Boombox Creators documentary, a super clean Lasonic TRC-920T with tweeters installed and a Big Ben among others.

Peter and Adrian showed up with a pair of matching Helix HX-4700's, a plethora of Sony's, a C-100F, JVC 550, Yorx 20/20, Peter's NIB TRC-935 just to name but a few.

Owen brought an insane collection of Micro Cassette mini's that were a HUGE hit! He also had many radio's I have never seen including a wild Mitsubishi, and Elephant, a blaster with a detachable sub woofer and a super clean TRC-922 (dibs).

Matt brought a MONSTER Sharp that is one of the biggest radio's I have ever seen. Matt's girlfriend came down, she is Japanese and helped us decipher or Japanese radio controls!

MATT, YOU TWO WILL HAVE TO COME BACK AND HELP ME FIGURE OUT SOME MORE OF MY RADIOS!

lEFT TO rIGHT

We BBQ'd some dogs and CRANKED IT UP LOUD! There were a few times where you couldn't ever talk! 20+ radio's PUMPIN' out music. It was sick! At the height of it, Peter walked over and turned up his C-100F and you could feel the bass through the concrete floor of the garage. Those Conion or NO JOKE & ever get together has to have one!

At the end of the day, Adrian and I did some work to his Helix. We opened it up and cleaned the power cord AC/DC switch which fixed the problem of not being able to run it on batteries and then I did my patented pending Blue Tooth mod so now he can ROCK that box on the street streaming music from his phone!

We then worked on Peter's Helix and got it working on batteries, but it had some other issues that need to be worked out, so he left it behind for me to go through.

PETER, WHEN I GIVE IT BACK TO YOU, IT WILL BE ALL WORKED OUT!

Dig the custom T-Shirts Peter and Adrian have! TAKE THAT EAST COAST!

There were way more radio's that I listed, check out the pictures to see them all...

Left To Right

Owen, Miles, Peter, Matt (in front), Adrian, Chris

And wow, that black Mitsu.....I think it was one of the most expensive ever?

Kickass shirts, any extras?

Great to meet you guys yesterday. Definitely game to come back and do this again. Also happy to find out I live so close to Owen and Miles. Miles and I will be setting up a Boomboxery gallery exhibition at La Luz de Jesus Gallery for August 2015 that will be absolutely epic! I've got to score a West Coast shirt from Peter & Adrian! Thanks again, Chris, for hosting and inviting me into the group. Any questions about Japanese, we're happy to help with.
