Obviously we have the wx-1 for toshiba , the vz2000 / 777 for sharp , the m90 for jvc but what about sanyo and panasonic ?

And hitachi for that matter ?

What are the largest models?

I would have to guess the RX-5350 for Panasonic and the Big Ben for Sanyo.

I think the TRK-8600 was Hitachi's largest but I'm not sure.

The largest of all boomboxes were the big black plastic boxes like the JC-2000 or the J-1, etc...

Monchito the question here was merely about size and I can tell you the BigBen is deeper and taller than 920, I think the 920 only has Big Ben beat in the width.

I've never heard a 920 but I would lay odds that BigBen beats it there too. Not taking away from the 920, it's a sweet box. :-D

I guess you go volumetrically size wise ? I think I just made up a word ! You know, length x depth x height ! !

Now just hold on one cotton-pickin' minute here.

The Tosh WX-1 isn't a 1pc, as this pic from the 'base helps show:

the RT-S913 is though...

...which has to be a contender :-)

Big Ben is bigger all round.

Sanyo M-X920 dimensions from the manual:

W = 21 3/4"
D = 7 1/2"
H = 12 5/8"
