I believe there were at least 2 versions of the 918. Yours looks in good shape.

I seen at least 3-4 different versions. Differences in tweeter grills, tuner dial and even cabinet. My tweeters are different ;-)

Thanks guys! I had never seen a 918 with 920 tweeter grilles (rotated nonetheless), so wasn't sure if it was factory or a mod. Thanks to The Legend, I now know it's factory. :yes:

Come to think of it, I should've known after talking to Albert at Lasonic: Yung Fu used so many part suppliers back in the day, that there are probably even more 918, 920, 922, 931 variations awaiting discovery. :w00t:

I really do like the look of these, they look like they're loosely based on the Sanyo M9990, from the front. :yes: Very nice box indeed, this is one box that looks really great in silver. :drool:

Great Find Miles, Nope, never seen that one, but like everyone said, there are so many variants. The 918 is a VERY under rated box. They are loud for their size. Glad you found one in full working condition!
