i hear my usual pack of trailer park rednecks --
-with their rusty pick-ups and their 12 packs --
all parked in front of my estate :-D

but this time --they were even noisier than my conion !! :annoyed:

couldnt even concentrate on this important mission ---which was
to read these foolish "off-topic" posts you guys make here :-D

so i ran outside to tell them to fk-off - :'-( :'-(

and just in time to watch this enormous ball of orange fire --
flying directly over my trailer :w00t:

it was the atlantis space shot !!!!

the only giant ball of fire i have ever seen from the sky was the huge meteorite i saw coming back from socal a few years ago.
its was massive green ball of light that sounded like a tie fighter as it passed over us.
the wierdest thing was watching it burn up in the atmosphere. it was really huge tho i mean i never experienced that before.

I launched a rocket the other day, but it was only a water-rocket, single-stage. Did it as part of Design-Make-Test project for the spacecraft flight module of my course. Was hilarious, the parachute failed to deploy and the payload (a raw egg) was smashed spectacularly. Happened to ~90% of the other launches on the day. Good job we haven't graduated yet
