HI,

I would change the tuner, how to remove the tuner without disconnect the AM antenna?

Thank you for your answers

I kept the plastic frame and I have changed the tuner card because I did not detect stereo, then the AM / SW antenna for cables were cut and I set the drive system with the rope.

It's OK, everything works, I have a 777 that works like the first day!

Thank you for your help

I had a busted tuner on my 777Z & had to find a complete assy, all ready to bolt in. The entire assy can be taken off the frame & replaced, as 1 piece. The assy has the wheel, pre-strung, tuning board, pointer & scale integrated into 1 interchangeable unit. That way, you can change the whole thing, in about 5 minutes, if you take your time with it. Of course, you have to open the radio & remove the entire chassis from the cabinet before you can change the assy.

Cheers,
Cpl
